We’re pleased to share that registration is now open for the NIH INCLUDE Voices: Research in Action Challenge, and we hope you’ll help us spread the word.
This new challenge invites the Down syndrome community to bring research to life through storytelling.
People with Down syndrome, families, caregivers, researchers, clinicians, students, and advocacy organizations are invited to create a video of up to three minutes showing how research improves lives and why participation in research matters.
Challenge at a glance:
- Up to $50,000 in total prizes across up to 16 winners
- Videos up to 3 minutes
- Submissions open: October 5, 2026
- Submissions close: December 18, 2026
- Winners announced: March 21, 2027, World Down Syndrome Day
- Winners will also be recognized at the 2027 NIH INCLUDE Investigators Meeting, on April 19-20, 2027, in Bethesda, Maryland.
We would appreciate your help spreading the word. Please share this opportunity with people with Down syndrome, families, colleagues, community partners, advocacy organizations, and others in your networks who may have a story or perspective to share.
With your help, we can bring more voices, experiences, and perspectives from across the Down syndrome community into this effort, including those we might not otherwise.
