On March 8, 2025, the Emory University School of Medicine's Down Syndrome Center hosted the 2025 Emory Down Syndrome Research Symposium at the Emory Conference Center in Atlanta, Georgia. This event brought together experts from across the country to discuss the latest advances in Down syndrome research.
INCLUDE Investigator and Executive Director of the Linda Crnic Institute for Down Syndrome, Dr. Joaquin Espinosa, gave a presentation titled: Recent Research Advances and New Clinical Trials Benefiting Individuals with DS.
The event had an impressive turnout from the Down syndrome community with over 140 attendees including parents, caregivers, self-advocates, students and professionals.
